Support4Cancer is excited to announce the opportunity to support our major fundraiser for the centre in 2012 by taking the challenge and participating in Kokoda. Support4Cancer has partnered with Australian Kokoda Tours and will embark on the ultimate challenge of trekking the Kokoda to raise funds for the cetnre, departing on Monday 22nd October, 2012.

The Support4Cancer centre was founded by Colleen Thompson, a survivor of breast cancer, and offers assistance to patients, their families and friends from Ballarat and surrounding areas. Housed in a dedicated venue, Support4Cancer provides encouragement, support and aims to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and carers by giving them the support they require to cope with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. A purpose built drop-in centre provides a safe place to speak to someone who can provide them with information and link them to other support groups.
Families and friends are welcome, even if only for a chat. Here they can find the support they need to help their loved ones going through a journey. Support4Cancer can help them to gain a better understanding of the cancer journey...

SUPPORT4CANCER KOKODA TOUR (Monday 22nd - 31st October, 2012)

Tour Includes:

* Domestic flights, Melbourne – Brisbane / Brisbane – Melbourne / Port Moresby – Kokoda (Qantas)
* International flights, Brisbane - Papua New Guinea and return (Qantas or Co-Share)
* Airport Transfers in New Guinea and Australia
* 2 nights’ accommodation in Port Moresby in 4 or 5 Star accommodation

* Minimum, 2 Australian guides with minimum level 2 First Aid qualifications
