DAY 5 - CULTRUAL DAY

Wednesday 09 July

The trekkers had a great evening last night listening to the children sing. Today the students enjoyed a sleep-in however, most were up early anyhow. They had breakfast and them split into groups, with one group doing some gardening, another some firewood collecting & chopping wood and the other some village maintenance. They then visited the local school and sat in on a class and then back to the village for lunch. After lunch they gathered for an afternoon of games. They played soccer, touch rugby, volleyball and once again were beaten in the tug of war. A little rain also made climb the greasy pole a little more difficult however, all are doing well. They have now just finished dinner (6:30pm) and most getting ready for bed early and ready for day 6 on the track.
