DAY 5 - CULTURAL DAY

Tuesday 30 June

Today the students enjoyed a relaxed morning, although many were up early. After breakfast the group split into teams: some cut grass, others gathered and chopped firewood, and another group worked in the garden. After lunch they visited the local school and health clinic, then spent the afternoon playing games against the porters. A few took the opportunity to wash clothes and others went for a refreshing swim.

All are doing well. Dinner has just finished and most are turning in early to rest and prepare for tomorrow.
