The Trek includes:

• Domestic flights in Australia and PNG

• International flights, Australia - Papua New Guinea and return (not included in Ex Port Moresby package)

• Airport Transfers in New Guinea

• 2 nights’ accommodation in Port Moresby at the 5 Star Hilton Hotel twin share*

• Track Fees

• Experienced Australian guides that are Remote Wilderness First Aid Accredited & have a thorough history of the campaign

• Satellite phone for emergencies & to make contact with Australia each day

• Kokoda Track UHF radio for contact with Kokoda Track Authority and Kokoda Rangers

• Closed 2-Way Radio communication with Head Guide, Lead Guide and Medical Porter

• 24 hour emergency contact in Australia & Port Moresby

• We carry a fully equipped wilderness first aid kit including an Automated External Defibrillator

• All fresh food on the track by dedicated cook (we do not use ration packs at any stage)

• All meals & site fees are incorporated, including meals at the hotel

• All tents & or huts along the track

• Experienced River rescue team

• All cooking and eating equipment

• Visit to Bomana War Cemetery

• Extensive historical history & information about the Kokoda campaign

• Nutritious snack pack, including electrolyte supplement capsules

• 60-70 litre Back-pack (received when you arrive in Port Moresby). If you have a personal porter you will need to provide your own day pack.

• A copy of the Kokoda Track permit

• Certificate of achievement

• Fully edited professional video of your experience on the Kokoda track

• We have a minimum of 1:1 trekker to porter ratio

• Our porters carry less than the recommended weight determined by the Kokoda Track Authority

• All porters and local guides (including name tags, uniforms - shirts, shorts & cap)

• Our porters are paid well above the minimum and average wage

• We include transport costs for our porters to & from their village

• We include a celebration dinner with our porters at the Hilton Hotel on the last evening

• 8-week training program

• In states where we have Australian Guides located, there will be ad hoc training hikes advertised that you can attend at no extra charge

* For those of you who do not wish to share accommodation in Port Moresby, a single room can be secured at an additional fee of $450.00 

* We have a 1 porter per 1 client ratio for carrying tents, cooking equipment, food, emergency supplies etc. However, these are not Personal Porters which can be hired at an additional cost of $750. You will need to supply your own daypack but we will supply the porter's backpack for your entire trek.
